Kpetoe (V/R), May 12, GNA — Mr Mannaseh K. Ned, Communication Director of Kpetoe Diamond FC, has expressed confidence ahead of the 2025/2026 Volta Region Division Two Middle League competition, describing the tournament as highly competitive but manageable for his side.

Speaking in an interview with Ghana News Agency (GNA), Mr Ned said the outcome of the recently concluded Sub Middle League showed that this year’s competition would be challenging for all participating clubs.

“Looking at how other sectors of the Sub Middle League ended, it tells us that this year’s Middle League is not going to be an easy battle,” he stated.

“But we are also up to it, and we welcome all the clubs. At the end of the day, Kpetoe Diamond FC will end up smiling,” he added confidently.

Kpetoe Diamond FC has been placed in Group B alongside Keta FC, Yadzo Oti Warriors, and Yingor FC.

The group is already being described by football enthusiasts as one of the toughest in the competition, following impressive performances by all four clubs during the Sub Middle League stage.

Mr Ned acknowledged the quality of the competing teams but stressed that his side remained focused and determined to secure qualification.

“We respect every club in the competition, but we believe in our preparation, commitment, and the quality within our team,” he noted.

The 2025/2026 Volta Region Division Two Middle League is scheduled to take place from May 23 to May 31 at the Ho Sports Stadium.

The tournament serves as the final qualification stage for clubs seeking promotion to Division One football in Ghana.

Supporters of Kpetoe Diamond FC have expressed optimism that the team would make a strong impact in the competition and potentially secure promotion at the end of the tournament.
