Accra, May 12, GNA – Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club says it remains committed to resolving its dispute with former Technical Director René Hiddink in an amicable and professional manner.

The club, in a statement, said recent engagements between both parties had led to the submission of a settlement proposal to Mr Hiddink’s legal representatives.

According to the statement, the proposal was presented in good faith and formed part of efforts to bring the matter to a fair and responsible conclusion in the interest of all parties involved.

“Hearts of Oak remains focused on the ongoing resolution process and will not be drawn into commentary that may undermine efforts toward an amicable settlement,” the statement said.

The club acknowledged reports and alleged leaked conversations circulating in the public space concerning the matter but stressed that management remained committed to handling the issue responsibly and transparently.

It noted that throughout the process, the club had sought to protect its long-term interests and reputation while also respecting the rights of the former Technical Director.

The statement said the club was currently awaiting an official response from Mr Hiddink and his representatives regarding the proposal submitted.

Management of Hearts of Oak therefore appealed to supporters and stakeholders to remain calm, patient and supportive as discussions continued.

The club expressed confidence that the matter would be resolved quickly and peacefully and reaffirmed its commitment to the stability, progress and future success of the club.
