DRIP officials visit Ketu North MCE to strengthen road improvement programme

Dzodze (V/R), May 22, GNA – Officials of the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP), led by the National Coordinator, Mr Edwin Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, have paid a working visit to Rev Martin Amenaki, Ketu North Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), to discuss measures aimed at improving the implementation of the programme within the municipality. 

The meeting, held at the Ketu North Municipal Assembly on Thursday, focused on strategies to strengthen collaboration, improve operational efficiency and enhance staff capacity for effective road infrastructure delivery. 

The delegation included the Volta Regional DRIP Coordinator, Mr Wogbe Elliot, together with other officials and technical staff of the programme. 

Discussions centred on operational improvements, coordination among stakeholders and measures to enhance service delivery under the DRIP initiative in the municipality. 

Rev Amenaki expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to working closely with DRIP officials to ensure successful road improvement interventions in the area. 

He said the Assembly remained committed to supporting the programme to achieve sustainable development outcomes and improve road accessibility for residents in the municipality.
