Accra, May 8, GNA- Mr Abu Kasangbata, a former Deputy Upper West Regional Minister has called on the Ministry of Communications and Digitalization to collaborate with Telecommunication companies to improve their performance.
He said for some weeks now their connectivity had been erratic and slowed down businesses.
Mr Kasangbata, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview in Accra mentioned the Upper West Region and parts of the Northern and Greater Accra regions as the most affected.
“There have been intermittent cuts in Telecommunication connectivity especially in the Upper West Region and parts of the Northern and Greater Accra regions”.
He said as a member of the ruling National Democratic Congress, they promised Ghanaians a holistic reset during the electioneering and were therefore accountable to them in that respect.
“Right now, technology is the key to development and if we’re to leverage that, services from the Telecos must improve significantly.”
He called on groups and individuals to also report to the companies to enable them to step up their performance.
