Prophet Nkansah urges Christians to seek spiritual growth beyond Easter festivities

Abokobi, April 06, GNA – Prophet Prince Nana Yaw Nkansah, the Head Pastor of Covenant City of Jehovah Shammah Ministry International, has called on Christians to seek total life transformation through the significance of the Easter season.

Addressing a congregation at Abokobi in the Greater Accra Region, Prophet Nkansah emphasised that Easter was not merely an annual festive ritual, but a divine period meant to trigger a shift from spiritual and physical stagnation to growth.

He explained that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ carry a unique power capable of breaking chains of sin and providing solutions to challenges that defy human logic or medical intervention.

â€śIt is a festive season that comes with transformation. The Bible states that when Jesus died and His blood was shed, the ground could not withstand the power, resulting in an earthquake,” Prophet Nkansah said.

He added: “His blood was shed; the ground could not withstand the power, resulting in an earthquake.

“In the same effect, if that power comes upon your life, there should be a visible change.”

Prophet Nkansah further noted that the blood of Christ remains the ultimate source of victory for mankind, offering a way out of habitual sins and providing hope for those who feel defeated by life’s circumstances.

He urged believers to move beyond the excitement of the festivities and focus on the encounter with the Holy Spirit, which he described as the comforter left behind to guide the faithful.

â€śIf you get to know the importance and the reasons for the blood, then definitely, there should

be a transformation in your life. “We should not take the death of Christ for granted,” he stressed.

The Prophet said the true measure of a successful Easter celebration was the visible transformation from sin, adding, that, “if it doesn’t bring impact, then it means we don’t understand what we are doing.”

He called on the global Christian body to lead lives that reflect the salvation they profess.

He also reminded the public that the message of Easter was one of eternal hope, stressing that the same Jesus who rose from the dead over 2,000 years ago remained alive and active in the affairs of those who believe in Him.
