Nkawkwa Salvation Army Primary school emerges champions of the Milo U13 football

Essipong(WR), April 25, GNA – The Nkawkwa Salvation Army Primary school has emerged winners of the 2026 Milo under thirteen championship competition.  

The team lifted the trophy for the third time after scoring a goal from each half of the game to beat Kwabenya Atomic Basic School in the Greater Accra Region who were unable to score. 

The Essipong Sports electrified with pure joy amidst brass band music typical of any successful and dazzling Westside event. 

Madam Salomé Azevedo, Mananging Director for Nestle Ghana, performed the ceremonial kick-off for the Milo U13 finals. 

She said the company was committed to developing minds and talents for the general good of the country. 

Madam Deborah Kwablah, the Corporate Affairs Manager of Nestle Ghana, sponsors of the competition, described the win because of teamwork, determination adding, that Nestle was proud to be associated with such great minds and talents 

Mr. Myron Otoo, Category Manager for beverages and dairy at Nestle Ghana noted how the company was proud to nurture such grassroots talents for the future of the country.  

Asamoah Gyan, a Ghanaian Football Legend together with Stephen Appiah, Nii Addo and other renowned sportsmen graced the colourful soccer event.
