Asamankese (E/R), May 18, GNA – Apostle Dr Philemon Okoh Agyemang, the Founder and Leader of the Living Yahweh 7TH Day Sabbath Assemblies has distributed various items to the vulnerable in society at the funeral of his late father at Asamankese in the Eastern Region.
The items included1,500 pieces of cloth and 500 bags of Rice, free lunch, and among others for widows. Free health screening was also organsied for the people.
In a tribute Apostle Okoh Agyemang said the donation forms part of the wish and farewell of his late father, Nana Baffour Osei Kwabena Okoh, 95, Krontihene of Penim who was buried at the weekend at Asamankese.
Apostle Okoh Agyemang said, “This act of kindness is a testament of my father’s commitment to serving others and making positive impact in the lives of those around him.”
He described the late father as a remarkable man, a devoted father, and a true leader, adding, “My father embodied kindness, generosity, and compassion. May we continue to be inspired by his example and strive to make a difference in the lives of others.”
The funeral was attended by personalities from all walks of life notably ministers of God, politicians, renowned musicians including Pat Thomas, Kofi Bentil, Kumawood actors – Agya Koo, Christiana Awuni, and traditional leaders from Anyaa, Sowutuom in Accra, and Asamankese.
Apostle Okoh Agyemang expressed gratitude to all who contributed in diverse ways to make the event possible, saying, “Your presence is a testament of the respect and admiration for my father and our family.”
