Koforidua, April 2, GNA – All Nations University’s participation in the just-ended National Banking and Ethics Challenge (NBEC), organised in Accra by the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIB), Ghana, offered internship opportunities for participating students, among other benefits.
Students across the board were encouraged to take part in notable competitions to identify their strengths and weaknesses, enhance performance, and foster innovation beyond the traditional classroom.
Dr Kenneth Amoah Binfoh, Vice Dean of the School of Business at All Nations University, made the remarks during the presentation of teaching materials on Law Relating to Banking and Principles and Practices of Management, volumes one and two, to the university in Koforidua.
The textbooks were donated by the CIB, Ghana at the NBEC, and the students who received them made an onward submission to the university on campus.
The Chartered Institute of Bankers also presented the university with a cash prize in recognition of its enthusiasm and active participation, despite not winning the challenge.
The items were received on behalf of the university by Professor Samuel H. Donkor, President of All Nations University.
Mr Lawrence Bassey Ekpo, Lecturer in the Banking and Finance Programme and coach for Team All Nations University at the competition, said the textbooks would enhance teaching and learning to produce business leaders with in-depth understanding of the financial sector.
He expressed gratitude to the CIB, Ghana for introducing the National Banking and Ethics Challenge, noting that 2026 marked its second edition.
