Addressing transport challenges: First batch of 100 29-seater buses arrives

Accra, April 6, GNA – Mr Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidential Spokesman and Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, has announced the arrival of the first batch of 100 29-seater buses into the country. 

The arrival forms part of Government’s efforts to address prevailing transport challenges nationwide. 

“In the meantime, 100 29-seater buses have arrived in the country to ease recent road transport challenges. They form part of 300 buses procured for the purpose,” Mr Kwakye Ofosu said in a statement. 

He noted that a second batch of 100 buses is expected to arrive in August, while the final batch of 100 buses will arrive in November this year.
