Cape Coast, March 08, GNA – A Level 200 Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) student at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has been crashed to death by a bus on campus.

The deceased, Mr Caleb Kweku Mensah, met his untimely death on Thursday, March 5, when he was riding a motorbike to the Oguaa Hall to collect his identification card for a scheduled examination.

His bike reportedly collided with an Ayalolo bus around 1500hours along the Amissah-Arthụr Language Centre and the Sandwich Lecture Theatre (SWLT) stretch resulting to severe injuries.

The body had since been deposited at the UCC Morgue pending further procedures, the statement said.

The school had also reported the incident to the UCC Police and the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) for investigations.

The university had also informed the family of the deceased about the incident and commiserated with them.
