Ho, March 5, GNA – Mr Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, a Ghanaian reggae-dancehall star, has arrived in Ho in the Volta Region, to pay homage to chiefs and officials ahead of his Torcher Experience concert.

The musician, Stonebwoy, visited the Adaklu Traditional Council and elders at Adaklu Goefe, where he formally paid homage ahead of the much-anticipated Torcher Experience concert scheduled at the Adaklu Youth Resource Centre.

His arrival on Thursday attracted a large crowd of residents and fans who gathered to welcome the internationally acclaimed artiste as he returned to celebrate his roots.

During the visit to the palace, the musician presented assorted gift packages to support the traditional authority, a gesture the chiefs and elders described as a sign of respect and appreciation for his cultural heritage.

In recognition of his contributions to music and youth inspiration, the chiefs of Adaklu Goefe also enstooled the artiste with the traditional title Togbe Dunyo I, symbolising his new role as a cultural ambassador for the area.

The traditional authorities further announced that a parcel of land had been gifted to the artiste to establish a project to be known as “Stonecity,” which they believed would promote tourism, youth empowerment and community development.

Ahead of the concert, Stonebwoy also paid a courtesy call on Mr James Gunu, the Volta Regional Minister and visited media houses including Global FM 105.1 and Volta Premier FM 98.1, to interact with listeners.

Speaking during the media engagements, the artiste said bringing the Torcher Experience concert to the Volta Region was intentional.

“It gives me joy to bring the Torcher Experience home first before anywhere else,” he said, and invited residents and his fans to gather at the Adaklu Youth Resource Centre for the celebration.
