Kumasi, March 27, GNA-Nana Boakye Amponsah Okofroban III, Chief of Parkoso, near Kumasi, has confirmed the destoolment of Mr Victor Kofi Owusu Boahene, also known as Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu, as the family head of the royal Ekuona family of Parkoso.
Nana Okofroban III, in a press statement to notify the public of the decision of the Ekuona family of Parkoso, noted that, an acting family head has been appointed after the customarily removal of Mr Boahene on March 11, 2026.
The chief in the statement, introduced Mr Jones Kennedy Brefo, as the newly appointed family head of the royal Ekuona family of Parkoso and entreated all to accord him the due respect as the family head.
The statement clears all doubts about the destoolment of Abusuapanin Kofi Owusu, who was embroiled in many disputes within the family, resulting in multiple court cases and controversies after the death of Mr Charles Kwadwo Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba, iconic highlife music star, who died in the latter part of 2025.
