Axim (W/R), March 12, GNA – Obahyemaa Erza Ngonlomah, Queenmother of Axim, has marked her birthday with a renewed commitment to community service, with a focus on women empowerment in the area.

She cited selflessness and devotion to service as the driving forces behind her leadership.

Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Axim in the Nzema East Municipality of the Western Region, Obahyemaa Ngonlomah pledged to continue championing the rapid socio-economic development of the area.

The celebration was climaxed with a thanksgiving service to the Almighty God for blessing her with another year.

Obahyemaa Ngonlomah is known for her community service and organisational abilities, including coordinating the historic visit of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, to Axim last year—his maternal hometown—as well as to the Ellembelle Islamic headquarters at Kamgbunli.
