Child falls to death from 15th floor of Berlin tower block
Berlin, March 2, (dpa/GNA) – A child has died in Berlin, after falling from the 15th floor of a tower block.
Police said on Monday that emergency services attempted to save the child and brought him to the hospital, where they he from severe injuries.
The incident in the eastern Marzahn district is believed to have been an accident, with a police spokesman saying there is no evidence of a crime.
The child is said to have fallen out of a window.
Emergency services were accompanying relatives at the scene, with a counsellor being brought in.
The local BZ newspaper reported that the child was a 4-year-old boy.
