He presented 100 bags of cement to support the construction of a standard clinic being put up at the Sunyani Senior High School (SUSEC) by the SOSA ’99, to mark the ‘SUSEC Year of Return 2027,’ when the Group paid a courtesy on him in Sunyani.

The Group unveiled the ‘SUSEC Year of Return 2027’ with a fund-raising rally, to mobilise resources from the alumni to construct the clinic to enhance quality healthcare service delivery among the over 4,000 students.

Mr Antwi noted that advancing development remained collective responsibility and called on other alumni to emulate the shining example of SOSA ’99 and to tackle the infrastructural challenges confronting schools.

He said the Assembly remained dedicated to addressing those challenges and thereby enhancing access to educational facilities in the municipality.

Miss Millicent Kuma, the Organiser of the Committee working on the clinic project told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the project was expected to be completed within 12 months and expressed appreciation to the management of the SUSEC for releasing an acre of land for the project.

Ms Kuma explained that the SUSEC Year of Return 2027 project sought to mobilise alumni and stakeholders to contribute towards the holistic development of the school, with the clinic project being one of its flagship interventions.

She said the group was executing the clinic project through individual financial contributions and appealed to corporate and religious bodies, wealthy Sunyani natives and the alumni, home and abroad to support the construction of the clinic.

The Group later presented an official “Homecoming 2027” T-shirt to the MCE.
