Dambai (O/R) Feb 18, GNA – The All Regions Queen Mothers Association has condemned the actions of a Russian national, Mr Viacheslav Trahow, who reportedly filmed his sexual encounters with Ghanaian women and circulated the content online.

A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) and signed by Nana Otubea II, Paramount Queen Mother of the Nkonya Traditional Council and President of the Association, described as “very unfortunate.”

The association cautioned the public against castigating the victims, stressing that such an occurrence could happen to anyone, as mistakes are inevitable.

It emphasised the need to prioritise the mental health and well-being of the affected persons during this critical period.

The statement further advised women to be mindful of the people they associate with, noting that “all that glitters is not gold.”

On behalf of the association, Nana Otubea urged the public to exercise restraint, empathy and caution in discussing and handling matters of such nature.
