Wa, (UW/R), Feb. 04, GNA – The Lawra Senior High School Old Students Association (LASSOSA) has donated over GH₵100,000 to its alma mater, the Lawra Senior High School (LAWSEC), to support this year’s Speech and Prize Giving Day.
As of February 03, 2026, a total of GH₵105,755.77 had been mobilised by the Association through contributions from its members to support the organisation of the event.
Part of the support will enable the school procure a siren to enhance information dissemination within the school, particularly during emergencies.
“The gesture was borne out of the desire of the old students of the school to give back to the institution that has impacted our lives and moulded us into who we are today”, Mr Ali Cheffa, the President of LASSOSA, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA).
