Dzolokpuita (V/R), Feb. 12, GNA – Thirty-two Junior High Schools have qualified for the second stage of the 2026 Ho West Basic Schools Annual Quiz Competition after district-wide preliminaries.

The 2026 edition of the Ho West Basic Schools Annual Quiz Competition (BaSAQ-C) has moved into its second stage, following the successful completion of preliminary contests involving 74 schools across 19 centres.

The 32 qualifying schools include all 18 first-placed schools and 14 best-performing second-placed schools, selected strictly on raw score rankings to ensure fairness and merit-based progression in the competition.

Contestants whose schools do not advance will each receive MP-branded exercise books in recognition of their participation, commitment and hard work throughout the preliminary rounds.
