Accra, Feb. 8, GNA – The Ghana Cycling Federation (GCF), in collaboration with the Africa Cycling Network (ACN), has visited Twellium Industrial Company at its factory location at Medie–Kotoku as part of activities marking the Tour du Ghana.
The delegation was led by Mr Shaaban Mohammed, Secretary General of the Ghana Cycling Federation and Managing Director of the Africa Cycling Network and included Mr Rudolf Mensah, Equipment Director of the Federation, and Ms Elizabeth Gyamfi, Media Personnel of the Federation.
Also on the delegation were cyclists Emmanuel Sesi of the Royal Cycling Club in the Volta Region and Farrakhan Shaaban Mohammed of River Park Cycling Club in the Eastern Region, who competed and played vital roles during the Tour du Ghana 2025.
The visit was to formally present a citation to Twellium Industrial Company–Ghana in recognition of its support as the sole hydration sponsor of the Tour du Ghana, providing Verna Water over a ten-day period to more than 200 participants.
A race jersey was also presented to the company in appreciation of its sponsorship of the Youngest Overall Verna Jersey and the Best Overall Breakaway Twellium Jersey for the November 2025 Tour du Ghana Black Star Experience.
As part of the visit, the delegation undertook a guided tour of the factory, which offered first hand insight into the production processes of Twellium products.
The tour was described as educative and inspiring, as it exposed both officials and athletes to industrial production standards, quality assurance measures, and safety procedures.
The delegation was warmly received by Ms Belinda Selase Kamasah of Twellium Industrial Company, together with the Safety Officer, Mr Samuel Adjetey Annang, and the Quality Control Officer, Ms Leenatu Uthman Usuf, who guided the team through the factory and provided detailed explanations of the production processes.
The Ghana Cycling Federation and the Africa Cycling Network expressed their appreciation to Twellium Industrial Company–Ghana for the warm reception and the valuable engagement.
