Adaklu District Football Association Division three Zone three league kicked off

Adaklu Kodzobi (V/R), Feb. 02, GNA – The Adaklu District Football Association Zone three Division three football league kicked off at the Adaklu Kodzobi District Assembly Basic School Park at the weekend, with two matches.

The first match between Future Athletics Club of Adaklu Kodzobi and Mighty Eagles of Adaklu Have, which ended in a single equal draw for both teams.

While the Mighty Eagles broke the deadlock in the 40th minute of the first half through Godfred Anani, Nana Yaw levelled up the scores in the 88th minute for the Future Athletics.

The second match involving Volta Powers of Kodzobi Ando and Royal Rangers of Adaklu Have could not produce any goals, as the match ended in a goalless draw.

Both teams wasted several begging chances, especially in the second half, with goalkeeper Obed Kwadzo of Volta Powers denying the Royal Rangers victory with a brilliant save in the 90th minute.

The league is being sponsored by Praise City Eco Park and Resort, popularly known as Point and Kill.
