Accra, Jan. 31, GNA – Voting in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries commenced smoothly at the Odorkor Saleria Basic School in the Ablekuma North Constituency.
Polling began at 0720 hours at the centre, where 1,482 delegates are expected to vote.
Mr Francis Opoku, the Presiding Officer at the centre, said the process had been smooth so far and that no challenges were encountered at the start.
He commended the delegates for their peaceful conduct and the police for maintaining order.
Some delegates who spoke to the Ghana News Agency expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise.
