Ningo-Prampram secretary lauds delegates for unity during polls

Prampram, Jan. 31, GNA — Mr Solomon Djangmah, Ningo-Prampram Constituency Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has lauded delegates for exhibiting unity and teamwork during the ongoing presidential primary.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency at the constituency’s polling centre at Prampram, Mr Djangmah noted that 1,035 delegates were expected to vote from 193 polling stations and 22 electoral areas within the constituency.

He said the delegates have shown commitment and urged them to maintain peace to the end of the election.

He further appreciated the work of the Ghana Police Service and the Electoral Commission for the assistance and for ensuring peace and a smooth voting process.

The Ghana News Agency observed that the Ghana Police Service scanned all delegates in the Ningo-Prampram Constituency for any weapon before allowing them to vote to ensure an incident-free election.
