Dambai (O/R), Jan 27, GNA-Mr Nelson Kofi Djabab, Member of Parliament (MP) of Krachi East Constituency, has launched the MP’s Super Mock Championship, an educational initiative aimed at motivating and rewarding academic excellence among students in the constituency.
The programme, themed “Empowering Minds, Building the Future, Rewarding Excellence,” involves a series of mock examinations scheduled from March 30 to April 4, 2026, in respective schools.
Top performers would be awarded cash prizes of GHS 3,000 for the top student, GHS 1,500 for the second best and GHS 500 for the third best and this accompanied by sponsorship packages.
It again includes an inter-community athletics competition featuring 100m, 200m, 4x100m and 4x200m races, also with cash and sponsorship packages for winners and runners-up.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview, the MP encouraged students in the area to study harder and aim higher, unlocking their full potential to contribute to national development.
He reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the education and development of future leaders in Krachi East and Ghana.
“Investing in education is investing in the future of our nation,”Mr Djabab said.
