Government fixes roads to boost 24-Hour Economy in Bono East

Techiman (Bono East) Jan. 13, GNA- Mr. Francis Owusu Antwi, the Bono East Regional Minister, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to fixing roads to support the implementation of the 24-hour economy policy.

He believes the flagship program can help solve unemployment problems in the country, citing good roads as a crucial factor in facilitating the movement of goods and services.

Mr. Antwi in an interview with the Ghanan News Agency at Techiman mentioned that roads such as Atebubu-Amantin, Atebubu-Kwame Danso, and Kajaji are being considered for construction to support the policy’s implementation.

He also highlighted the government’s plans to reconstruct the Atebubu-Yeji Road and township roads in the area.

The Minister emphasized the importance of peace and stability in the region, calling for patience and peaceful coexistence to promote socio-economic development.

He expressed optimism that the 24-hour economy policy would help Ghana achieve several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) before 2030, focusing on human development.
