Sekondi (W/R), Jan. 01, GNA – Mr Elliot Anyidoho, the Presiding Elder of the English Assembly, The Church Of Pentecost, Sekondi District, has encouraged Ghanaians   to arise and experience a new lease of life in the New Year.

He said the New Year offered new opportunities, hope and manifold blessings for those who feared the Lord and walked uprightly with him.

Elder Anyidoho gave the admonishment in a sermon to usher believers of the Central and English Assemblies of the Church of Pentecost in the district into the New Year.

The joint service was on the theme, “Arise To New Life And Shine.”

Clad in white apparel, the believers sang their hearts out, danced and prayed to herald the arrival of the New Year.

Elder Anyidoho said God wanted all Ghanaians to be positive minded about the year 2026 irrespective of the prophecies of the world.

The Presiding Elder reminded Ghanaians of the scriptural command by God to “arise and shine for thy light has come and the glory of God has risen upon you.”

Elder Anyidoho said God had a plan to manifest his glory through the Holy Spirit and advised Ghanaians to run away from their sinful ways and walk uprightly with the Lord.

The Minister of the Gospel asked Ghanaians to put their trust in God and believe in him alone to bring them to an expected end.

Mr Emmanuel Dare the Sekondi District Pastor of the Church of Pentecost, reminded Ghanaians that God knew the beginning and the end of the year 2026 and advised them to exercise the strongest of faith in him to tap their blessings.

He said Ghanaians must not be so anxious that all their expectations and projections must come true before the year ends.

Pastor Dare said that it was only God who knew what was good for every Ghanaian and would therefore meet everybody at his point of need.
