Accra, Jan. 16, GNA – GCB Bank PLC has reaffirmed its commitment to rewarding customer loyalty with the rollout of its “Pa To Pa” promotion, a savings-based campaign that offers customers the chance to win monthly prizes and an all-expenses-paid trip to the FIFA World Cup this year.
Speaking at the first monthly reward ceremony, Mr. Sina Kamagate, Executive Head, Retail Banking, GCB, said the promotion, which was launched on December 1 last year, was designed to encourage savings while rewarding customers for their continued relationship with the bank.
He said the promotion allowed customers to earn points for every GHS300 deposited into their accounts, with higher deposits translating into more points.
Mr. Kamagate said these points formed the basis for monthly draws, where customers with the highest point accumulation win attractive prizes.
“At the end of each month, we reward customers who have built the highest points. Today, for instance, the top customer won a 75-inch smart television, while others received various electronic gadgets,” he added.
The prizes included tablets, washing machines, smart microwaves, tabletop fridges, 1.5hp Air Conditioner, a four-burner gas cooker, chest freezer, and a 75 inches Smart Television.

He said the promotion also targeted dormant account holders, encouraging customers who have not transacted for about two years to reactivate their accounts, such that once reactivated, such customers automatically earned points and qualified for the draws.
Mr. Kamagate said the ultimate prize would be drawn in May, where five customers would be rewarded with trips to the World Cup.
He said four of the winners would be selected based on accumulated points, while the fifth would be chosen through a raffle system, giving every participating customer an equal chance regardless of the amount deposited.
“We want our customers to know that we are an inclusive bank. It’s not only about how wealthy you are, but about their relationship with GCB. Even a customer who deposits just GHS300 can win through the raffle,” he added.
Mr. Kamagate noted that the promotion reflected GCB’s long standing customer-first philosophy, as the bank prepared to mark its 73rd anniversary in May.
He added that the initiative also provided a platform for customers from different regions to interact, network, and share business ideas.
Mr. Kamagate encouraged customers to either save regularly or reactivate dormant accounts to participate in the ongoing promotion, as the bank continued to reward loyalty and strengthen customer relationships nationwide.
Madam Olivia Yankey, speaking on behalf of all the beneficiaries, expressed their sincerest gratitude to the management and staff of GCB for their continuous support, dedication, and professionalism over the years.
