Akatsi (VR), Jan. 01, GNA- Believers from the Agorve District of The Church of Pentecost at Akatsi in the Volta Region have been urged to uphold righteousness and seek the face of God for action.
“There will be no change in our lives if we allow our faith and belief to be compromised with other antichrist-like activities. There is no miracle without a faithful heart. God is the only healer.”
Reverend Prosper Kofi Kpeli, the Agorve District Pastor of the Church gave the caution in a crossover service to usher members of the Church into the New Year.
He emphasised that Christians must avoid ungodly steps that would prevent their breakthrough, and instead embrace the teachings and the deep things of God for their victory.
“Chasing prophecy every day without doing what pleases God is out of order. Just believe in God and pray, a miracle will happen,” he said.
Torgbui Azibodzi III, the ‘Dufia’ of Agorve, who later joined the congregation to thank God for His goodness and mercies, assured all believers that 2025 had brought the end to every negativity in life.
“It is finished. This New Year will bring progress in all we do. Our community shall enjoy peace, unity, and progress. Our children shall be great in every aspect of life.”
Referring to the Holy Book of Isaiah 40:31, stating ‘But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not be faint,” he encouraged believers to seek God in all endeavors constantly.
Torgbui Azibodzi reiterated the need for believers to pray for the growth of their respective communities.
“Agorve State shall become great. The Church of Pentecost in my area shall see expansion,” he added.
Torgbui Azibodzi further appealed to all resort to Jesus in every challenge they would face in life.
The service, which attracted both members and non-members of the Church, saw the singing of thanksgiving songs, intercessory prayers, and others.
Some participants, who interacted with the Ghana News Agency, expressed utmost optimism about better deals and growth in the New Year.
