Hohoe (V/R), Jan. 07, GNA – FasterCapital, a global venture builder and online incubator is partnering the Victory to Mankind International, a Ghanaian real estate developer, to build eco-friendly student hostels across Ghana.

The strategic partnership through FasterCapital’s “EquityPilot” programme will accelerate the construction of sustainable student hostels nationwide, with the collaboration mobilising funding, technical mentorship and go-to-market support, to fast-track five 200-room hostels near tertiary institutions and scale nationally.

Mr Godwin Grant Oyintey, Chief Executive Officer, Victory to Mankind International told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the market opportunity Ghana faced was a sizable student housing deficit driven by rising tertiary enrolment and urbanization.

He said the Organisation targeted a white space in affordable, modern student accommodation-combining energy-efficient design, on-site services and flexible payment plans for government workers and SSNIT contributors.

Mr Oyintey said with an estimated market of hundreds of thousands of unmet student beds and limited professionally managed hostels, the timing supported rapid adoption and institutional partnerships.

The Organisation designed four-story hostels with 200 self-contained rooms accommodating three students each, solar-integrated utilities, rainwater harvesting and on-site maintenance.

Mr Oyintey said the initial rollout-five hostels with 3,000 bed capacity targeted an immediate revenue of about GHC21 million in year, based on existing pricing, adding that the model blended affordable annual tuition-like fees of about GHC7,000 per student, institutional profit-sharing incentives and strong operational controls to deliver high occupancy, lower churn and defensible margins versus informal lodging options.

He said the partnership would enable FasterCapital bring global investor networks, legal, fundraising and go-to-market acceleration and technical validation adding that FasterCapital’s selective criteria and track record provided third-party validation of product-market fit and team readiness.

Mr Oyintey said the partnership would also fast-track site development, digital tenant acquisition, and capital raises, with targeted milestones and investor introductions over 12 to 18 months.

“We started Victory to Mankind to give students safe, affordable housing that supports academic success and partnering with FasterCapital accelerates our timeline and connects us to the capital and expertise needed to deliver across Ghana,” he said.

Hesham Zreik, an Investor and Advisor, noted that Victory to Mankind International, addressed a clear market gap with a scalable, sustainability-first operating model with a team that has the right mix of product, market and execution capability while FasterCapital’s EquityPilot was designed to convert validated concepts into regional leaders.
