Tema, Dec. 9, GNA — Reverend Osei Kwabena Nkrahene, a retired minister of the Ghana Baptist Convention, has launched an inspiring memoir aimed at inspiring young ministers of the gospel.
Rev Nkrahene, who is also a lecturer at the Tema and Oti campuses of the Northern Ghana Baptist Theological Seminary, recounted his journey of redemption from worldly servitude to divine salvation and opportunity to serve God.
The book titled: “The Irresistible Hand of God, a Life Redeemed for a Purpose” was launched to celebrate his 50 years in ministry.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency, Rev Nkrahene indicated that he was inspired to write the book to serve as educational material for people on how to navigate through life.

Sharing his life story, he disclosed that as a young boy, he was lured into drugs by a friend and almost lost his life but was later redeemed by God and became a minister of God.
“So, I saw the need to let people know who I truly was, how God saved me, and how I started working in his kingdom as an evangelist and later joined the Baptist Church.”
According to him, his experience informed his choice of the book title, emphasising God’s mercy and redeeming power.
He advised the youth to seek ideas and guidance from the elderly due to the experience they have and also cautioned them against drug and substance abuse, which was leading many astray and destroying their future.
Rev Nkrahene charged the church to pay attention to the youth, nurture and protect them from the vices of the world and bad peer pressures.
