Takoradi, Dec. 10, GNA – Prospective 2025/2026 National Service Personnel appeal to National Service Authority (NSA) to extend the December 12 validation deadline
This is to allow regional validation exercise to resolve issues relating to their postings before undergoing the process.
The NSA, in a press release dated December 3, set Friday, December 12, 2025, as the final deadline for all prospective NSP to validate their active status to facilitate the processing of service-related benefits and administrative procedures.
However, some of the prospective personnel told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Takoradi that they were encountering challenges with their postings which were yet to be addressed.
Mr. Enock Nkuah, a prospective NSP in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis, said he was rejected by the organisation he was posted to and had since sought reposting from the NSA without success.
“When I got rejected by my first place of posting, I went to the Regional NSA Secretariat to seek reposting, but after more than a month, nothing has been done. Now how do they expect me to meet the validation deadline when I have no place to do my national service,” he lamented.
Mr. Emmanuel Nsiah, another prospective NSP, expressed similar concerns, noting that despite submitting all necessary documents for reposting weeks ago, his status remained unchanged.
He appealed to the management of the NSA to expedite the resolution of their concerns to enable them to commence their national service.
Other affected prospective personnel also appealed to the Authority to address their challenges so they would not forfeit their status as NSP.
