Founder of “Watch Your Tongue” bags four awards

Accra, Dec. 29, GNA – Mr Daniel Ofori-Appiah, Founder of Watch Your Tongue, has received several awards in recognition of his peace advocacy efforts. 

Imperial Leo Network honoured him on October 31, 2025, as the â€œAfrican Giant in conflict resolution”, followed by the â€œOrder of Golden Eagle Award in Impact Leadership” on November 26, 2025. 

The Price of a Wise Woman Group also accorded him honorary recognition on December 16, 2025, for training widows and married women to be responsible and courteous in home management. 

Mr Ofori-Appiah was further named â€œOutstanding contributor to peace building, development and humanitarian efforts in Ghana and beyond” at the Global Peace Ambassadors’ Awards and NGO Conference held on December 23, 2025. 

The conference brought together peace advocates, non-governmental organisations, corporate leaders and politicians to acknowledge contributions to peace building, development and humanitarian work. 

Mr Ofori-Appiah’s initiative, Watch Your Tongue Fountain, has played a significant role in promoting unity, peace and social cohesion in the country. 

His dual role as a police officer and founder of Watch Your Tongue was reported to have made a significant impact, with the awards underscoring his commitment to fostering positive change.
