ESDEV Foundation Africa, Gebeya partner to create employment through digital skills, innovation

Accra, Dec. 22, GNA – ESDEV Foundation Africa and Gebeya are in partnership to expand digital skills to foster innovation and create new employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for young people across the country.

The collaboration aligns with the Government of Ghana’s national digital transformation agenda, TVET reforms, and youth employment strategies.

A joint press releas.e issued by the two organizations said “by combining ESDEV’s extensive networks and leadership in education, youth empowerment, and innovation with Gebeya’s AI-enabled digital tools – Gebeya Dala, a no-code platform for building digital products, and Gebeya Jitume, a service-business platform for managing and monetizing online work, the partnership creates a practical pathway for students, freelancers, and SMEs to enter and thrive in the digital economy.”

It said those solutions enabled young people to transform ideas into income-generating ventures and strengthened Ghana’s emerging innovation ecosystem.

“Through jointly delivered digital training, innovation programmes, and entrepreneurship support, ESDEV and Gebeya aim to equip Ghanaian youth with future-ready skills required to compete globally,’ the release said.

It said the initiative also complemented ESDEV’s ongoing efforts, including its flagship Innovate4Employment, which supported start-ups to develop real-world competencies and contributed meaningfully to economic growth.
