Apremdo(WR), Dec. 21, GNA – Nana Egya Kwamina XI, the Apremdohene, has charged the newly constituted Apremdo Asafohen group to work assiduously in promoting community cleanliness, law, order and security.
He said: ” Now there are no wars for you to fight…and so your new role in the community is to use that spirit of tenacity to gather the community for communal labour, internal security and advance on community bye laws for a better society “.
Nana Egya Kwamina XI gave the charge when he commissioned some seven member Asafohen group for community development.
The group sworn the Oath of allegiance to the Chief and pledged to deliver on their new mandate.
He said, “Ensure that children under 18 sleep on time, bring deviant once to the palace and their parents would be accordingly dealt with”.
Nana Egya Kwamina XI said: “I don’t need complaints, I need real actions to save the future of our community”.
All seven members underwent a symbolic caning rites to remind them of the need to shape the future of the community through discipline and rightful living.
