Two dead after Russia bombs Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region

Kiev, Nov 4, (dpa/GNA) – At least two people have been killed in a Russian bomb attack in the municipality of Pokrovske in the south-east Ukrainian region of Dnipropetrovsk, officials said Tuesday.

Another four were injured, the acting governor of the region, Vladyslav Hajvanenko, announced on Telegram. A fire that broke out was put out.

Pokrovske is only just over 10 kilometres away from the Russian-Ukrainian front line. Nine civilians were also injured in another bombardment in the municipality of Mykolaivka, also in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Ukraine has been defending itself against a Russian invasion for more than three and a half years. Russian troops are now advancing further and further into the Dnipropetrovsk region.
