Tema, Nov. 18, GNA-The Ghana Link Network Services Limited, operators of the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUMS), has announced a major ongoing upgrade of the system.
A statement issued by the head of Public Relations of the company, stated that “we wish to notify all stakeholders, including trading communities, government agencies, freight forwarders, importers, exporters, and other stakeholders, of an ongoing major upgrade to the Integrated Customs Management System.”
It added that due to the ongoing upgrade, they have reached a stage in the process in which some users might inevitably experience intermittent downtime or reduced system responsiveness in the course of the day.
“We fully acknowledge and deeply regret the inconvenience, delays, and disruptions this may cause to business operations and workflow,” the statement said.
It appreciated the patience, understanding, and cooperation of all stakeholders during the upgrade period, adding that Ghana Link remained committed to maintaining transparent communication and would provide further updates as the upgrade progressed.
