ICC Ghana pays courtesy call on Minister of Climate Change And Sustainability

Accra, Nov. 04, GNA – The International Chamber of Commerce(ICC), Ghana has paid a courtesy call on Mr Seidu Issifu, Minister of Climate Change and Sustainability.

The ICC delegation’s visit led by Mr Emmanuel Don-Kwame, Secretary-General, is part of the Chamber’s advocacy in driving private investment in climate adaptation.

It presented the ICC’S COP 30 open letter to the Climate Minister and to discuss collaboration to host the 2nd ICC Africa Sustainable Supply Chain Summit in 2026.

The delegation briefed the Minister on the work of the International Chamber of Commerce, what COP30 should deliver for business and what ICC will bring to COP30.

Mr Doni-Kwame stated that the ICC continued to take bold actions to ensure that Small Medium Enterprises(SMEs) in Ghana and worldwide had the support and assistance needed to succeed in today’s rapidly changing global economy.

The ICC offers a range of tools and services to SMEs hosted on the ICC One Click platform and strongly support the call for a simplified standardized sustainability reporting frameworks tailored to the needs and capabilities of SMEs, the ICC Secretary-General said.

The ICC believes that equally important is the development of accessible, affordable digital tools to streamline the reporting process.
