Accra, Nov. 28, GNA – A woman captured in a viral video assaulting a man has been arrested by the Inspector-General of Police’s Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team.
A Police brief said Esther Nana Afia Sarfowaa was arrested at Subriso in the Ahafo Ano North Constituency of the Ashanti Region.
It said a second suspect, Stephen Ofori, was also picked up at Nkawie, also in the Ashanti Region, for his alleged involvement in the incident.
Both suspects are in police custody, while efforts are underway to apprehend three other suspects currently on the run.
The Ghana Police Service has assured the public of its commitment to bring all perpetrators to justice.
