Accra. Nov 12, GNA-AMG Global Travel, a wholly Ghanaian-owned company, has been honoured with the Green Category Award for excellence in service delivery at the 2025 International Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition held in Saudi Arabia from 9th to 12th November 2025.
A statement signed by Abdallah Suleiman and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Wednesday said the recognition highlighted AMG Global Travelâs outstanding performance and commitment to quality service in line with the policies and standards set by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
During the 2025 Umrah season, AMG Global Travel was commended by its Saudi partners, including Mohammed Hijazi Company and Ta’if Umrah Company, for its professionalism, efficiency, and dedication to ensuring smooth and fulfilling pilgrimages for its clients.
âThis award underscores AMG Global Travelâs readiness to continue providing excellent services to Ghanaian pilgrims, while expanding its operations to include some foreign residents with valid residence permits who wish to perform Umrah in the coming Ramadanâ.
In a related development, the companyâs Chief Executive Officer, Hajj Abdel-Manan Abdel-Rahman, has signed new partnership agreements for hotel accommodations in Makkah and Madinah ahead of the 2026 Ramadan Umrah season, reaffirming AMG Global Travelâs commitment to continuous improvement and growth in the Umrah sector.
