Krachi West MCE, group of philanthropists support Odomakoma Primary School

Kete-Krachi (O/R), Oct 06, GNA-Mr. Prosper Addo, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Krachi West of the Oti Region, has led a remarkable initiative in collaboration with a Coalition of Philanthropists to enhance learning conditions at Odomakoma M/A Primary School.  

The coalition, made up of Ceciyaa Foundation, the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS), and Mr Paul Ekow Gyimah, a philanthropist donated a wide range of teaching and learning materials to the school.  

The items include sanitary pads, toilet rolls, liquid soap, life jackets, and a speedboat to facilitate transportation across water bodies.   

They also made a significant financial contribution toward the construction of a new teachers’ office and a library for the school.  

Addressing the community during the presentation, Mr. Addo reiterated his commitment to promoting quality education in the Municipality.   

He emphasized that education remains the cornerstone of youth development and progress, urging students to take their studies seriously and respect their teachers.  

The MCE assured the people of Odomakoma that the Assembly, together with its philanthropic partners, would continue to support the community by completing the ongoing school building project and providing desks to ensure a more conducive learning environment for the pupils.
