Ewe Loyalty Foundation launches fifth anniversary at Sogakope

Sogakope (VR) Oct 27, GNA-The Ewe Loyalty Foundation (ELF), a non-government organisation (NGO), has launched its fifth anniversary celebration, to commemorate milestones achieved during the period. 

The launch was also used for the Foundation’s annual general meeting, held at Sogakope in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region.  

The launch, held on the theme “Five Years of Serving Humanity Together: Celebrating Loyalty and Our Next Steps”, also aims to bring young people together and empower them towards community building. 

Mr. Julius Kukubor, the Founder and President of the Foundation, during the launching, stated that there should be the need for all well-meaning individuals and organisations to team up together and gather resources towards the socio-economic advancement of the region. 

“Our goal is to impact positivity and exhibit good behaviour in the public; let me emphasise that our achievements over the past five years are a testament to the power of our collective effort,” he said. 

Mr. Kukubor highlighted the significant impact of the Foundation in the lives of countless individuals, schools, and communities which include empowering young minds with access to quality education, providing hope and rehabilitation opportunities for those seeking a second chance, and supporting communities in need. 

He explained that the Ewe Loyalty Foundation envisioned a world where every individual has access to quality education, quality healthcare, and economic opportunities, and to achieve the vision, the foundation required the support, generosity, and time of every individual for a common goal. 

“Our fifth anniversary launch also marks a significant milestone in our journey so far, we are committed to serving humanity and making a positive impact in the lives of others,” he said. 

Mr. Kukubor pledged that the Foundation was poised to continue its good work and urged others to join hands in making a difference to inspire the next generation to work beyond the limit to improve the progress of various communities.  

Madam Victoria Dzeklo, the South Tongu District Chief Executive (DCE), who was the Guest Speaker during the ceremony, commended the Ewe Loyalty Foundation for its dedication to impacting lives. 

She urged members of the Foundation and urged them to look forward to a mutually rewarding and fulfilling journey ahead.  

Madam Dzeklo applauded the foundation for its commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others and appealed to the leadership to ensure that better structures, programmes, policies, processes, and measures were put in place to sustain the foundation successes in subsequent years. 

The Chief Executive also congratulated the foundation for easing the financial burdens of countless individuals and families by paying bills, supporting medical treatments, and ensuring that those in need receive proper care without the weight of financial hardship. 

Madam Dzeklo urged every individual to exhibit the sense of commitment, persevering, and transparent towards supporting various communities, and encouraged the Ewe Loyalty Foundation to continue to strengthen their partnerships, expand outreach, and embrace innovation. 

Mr. Shine Setor, the General Secretary of the Foundation, in an interview with the Ghana News Agency, outlined some of the Foundation’s achievements, including supporting victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage, inmates of ‘In My Father’s House at Abor, and among others. 

He said despite facing challenges such as financial constraints and economic hardships, the Foundation remained committed to its mission and urged members to continue the benevolence donations to support various deprived and needy institutions and communities. 

Some members of the Foundation GNA engaged expressed excitement and gratitude to the leadership for the five years journey and promised to always support the mission, goals and targets of the foundation for a successful future.
