Accra, Sept. 26, GNA – The National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA), is set to begin the distribution of Teaching and Learning Resources to all licensed private senior high schools across the country.
The move forms part of efforts to strengthen the quality of teaching and learning in private schools.
A release copied to Ghana News Agency said the resources were received from “Transforming Teaching, Education and Learning (T- TEL).”
Professor Azeko Salifu Tahiru, the Inspector-General of Schools, emphasised NaSIA’s commitment to ensuring that private schools were adequately resourced to deliver quality education in line with national standards.
“The provision of these learning materials forms part of NaSIA’s broader efforts to improve classroom instruction, enhance professional development for teachers, and ensure better learning outcomes for students,” he noted.
The distribution, NaSIA said, would be carried out nationwide, and all licensed private senior high schools “are to liaise with the Authority’s regional offices for further details on collection and delivery arrangements.”

NaSIA acknowledged the collaboration of T-TEL and partners, who continue to support teaching and learning in private institutions.
In August this year, the Authority announced a STEM training programme for private school teachers to enhance “effective teaching and learning of science using practical and innovative Science Sets.”
Registration for the training closed on Sunday, August 24, 2025 as private institutions were encouraged to enroll.
BSTEM is an initiative led by the Ghana Education Service in partnership with Itec Global, a science-centred firm.
It sought to “enhance teaching of science and mathematics at the basic educational level by equipping classrooms with modern tools for active learning.”
The BSTEM project, according to officials, was piloted in 2024 and provided 100 Junior High Schools with Science and Mathematics equipment, enabling teachers to adopt hands-on, problem-solving, and experiential learning approaches.
