Agona Nyakrom (C/R), Aug. 21, GNA – The Nyak City Investment Company Limited has completed plans and architectural designs to build 1,000 beds capacity hostel facility at Agona Nyakrom University of Cape Coast (UCC) Campus to augment accommodation for students.
Mr Yawson Otoo, the Chief Executive Officer of the company made this known when he addressed the media at Agona Nyakrom in the Central Region.
He said the construction of the hostel facility would help to create opportunity for the students in and around Nyakrom.
Mr Yawson Otoo noted that the establishment of the UCC Campus is golden opportunity for the people of Nyakrom and its environs and called on the citizens to support it with logistics to sustain its running.
He called on private individuals and philanthropic organisations to actively invest in the operations of the campus.
He urged the citizens of Nyakrom both home and abroad to protect and invest in the facility for the attainment of its intended purposes.
Mr Yawson Otoo assured the Planning Committee of the 2025 Akwanbo festival celebration of the Nyak City Investment Company sponsorship package to enable them to inform the people of Nyakrom of the whole purpose of the hostel facility.
The CEO said the company has plans for the next five years to build 10,000 beds for the Nyakrom Health Centre after the completion of the 1,000 beds hostel and appealed to families and individuals who owned lands around the UCC Campus to assist achieve the intended purpose.
He urged private companies, corporate bodies, and individuals to come on board to help provide the hostel facility and to boost economic activities among the people in the area.
