Accra, July 31, GNA – Mr William Adama Mensah, the Headmaster of Edlys Montessori School at North Legon in Accra, has urged parents not to relent on their efforts to secure the future of their children through sound investment in education.

He commended parents for their instrumental support in the affairs of pupils and the school over the years.

Mr Mensah gave the advice at the Graduation and Speech and Prize Giving Day of the school on the theme, “Breaking down learning barriers to create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.”

Pupils and students who graduated ranged from Kindergarten to Junior High School.

The occasion was also used to launch the 20th anniversary of the school which would be climaxed a year from now.

Mr Mensah gave the assurance that the school would continue to place emphasis on the professional development of staff to ensure facilitators remain abreast of emerging trends and methodologies embedded in the current national curriculum.

He expressed gratitude to parents for helping to shape the minds of the students through various forms of support and partnership.

The headmaster said the school would continue to guide the children aside academic work to discover their hidden talents in arts, music and other creative endeavours.

Mrs Veronica Alorm Amissah-Video, a parent and a legal practitioner with the Environmental Protection Authority, who launched the anniversary commended learners for their conscious efforts at knowledge acquisition while applauding the school for its steadfast commitment to the cause of education.

Pupils and students who acquitted themselves well in their academic performance received various awards.
