Accra, June 19, GNA – A diverse group of leaders in worship has called on leaders and stakeholders to practice ethical and spirit-led leadership across the country.
To ensure ethical leadership values, the group is holding the third edition of Leaders in Worship, a transformative faith-based leadership summit organised by Eric Kwapong Ministries, on Friday, June 20.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra said the event would seek to ignite a new movement of leadership anchored in integrity, wisdom, and spiritual purpose.
It said LIW 3 would bring together key figures from the private and public sectors, religious institutions, traditional authorities, and media and advocacy organisations to engage in worship, scriptural teaching, and open dialogue on leadership in today’s complex world.
The statement said the gathering was not just another leadership conference, but a sacred space for reflection,
renewal, and reorientation.
“Leadership is a sacred calling,” the statement said, adding that LIW is a movement designed to raise leaders who blend character, competence, and divine guidance to transform communities and nations.
The statement said the event was targeting CEOs, board members, ministers of state, parliamentarians, church leaders, traditional rulers, and civil society advocates, to promote ethical, accountable, and purpose-driven leadership.
“Through worship sessions, biblical case studies, and practical dialogues, the summit aims to equip leaders to respond to contemporary challenges with clarity, resilience, and faith-driven vision,” it added.
The statement said some expected outcomes from LIW 3 included, spiritual renewal, deeper alignment with faith values, the emergence of ethical and accountable leadership practices, and the strengthening of cross-sector networks for sustainable development.
The summit also envisions creating an enduring mentorship culture among leaders across Africa and beyond.
It called on institutions, churches, advocacy groups, and leadership development organisations to partner in what they describe as a growing movement.
“Together, we can raise a generation of skilled, spiritually empowered leaders for Africa and the world,” the statement said.
