Kadjebi (O/R), May 29, GNA-Madam Alberta Mansah Klokpa, a former student of Kadjebi R. C Junior High School (JHS) in the Oti Region, has donated assorted sanitary pads to the students of her alma mater.
The presentation was part of the activities marking the 2025 World Menstrual Hygiene Day.
Handing over the pads, Madam Klokpa stated that the donation was her contribution to the well-being of the girl-child as the state alone could not do everything.
She advised the girls to avoid premarital sex, study hard, and stay away from bad company so they could grow to be responsible adults.
World Menstrual Hygiene Day is celebrated annually on May 28.
The day aims to raise awareness about menstrual health and hygiene and promote the importance of good menstrual hygiene management for all individuals.
