Woe (VR), April 19, GNA – Anlo Youth Council (AYC), the umbrella body of the youth of Anlo has expressed its readiness to collaborate with all new Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs) of Anlo State for development.
All 18 newly appointed MDCEs by the President for the Volta Region including about six in the Anlo area have recently been confirmed by their respective district Assemblies.
The AYC in a press release congratulating the new MDCEs, signed by its Vice President – Operations, Mr Godsway Hanyabui, recognised that sustaining a strong Anlo State begins with strong, visionary leadership, expressing optimism that together, a future for Anlo that is bright, sustainable, and inclusive for all could be created.
“As youth leaders, we are eager to collaborate with the MDCEs to foster a social order that supports development, where the aspirations of young people are given priority and the resources, we need to thrive are made available. Our generation is ready and determined to contribute to Anlo’s transformation, and we see the MDCEs as essential partners in that mission.”
“We are prepared to support the MDCEs in the pursuit of initiatives that will strengthen our economy, improve education, and create opportunities for our youth. We are particularly committed to being actively involved in shaping policies that will empower our generation, enhance our skills, and secure long-term prosperity for Anlo.”
“In this new chapter, we look forward to working hand-in-hand with the MDCEs, community leaders, and all stakeholders to build a prosperous Anlo, a place where every young person has the opportunity to grow, succeed, and contribute meaningfully to society,” the release said.
