Anloga, (V/R), April 20, GNA-Mr. Richard Kwame Sefe, the Member of Parliament for Anlo Constituency in the Volta Region, has marked the Easter festivities by engaging with constituents across several communities within the Anloga District.
The engagements were part of a series of community homecoming and development festivals organised in about fifteen electoral areas.
Communities such as Blemazado, Tregui, Dzita, Tegbi, Alakple, Anloga and others hosted durbars to celebrate the season while promoting local development initiatives.
At each of these events, Mr. Sefe took the opportunity to renew his commitment to fulfilling promises made both by himself and the government, outlining specific action plans aimed at addressing the unique needs of the various communities.
During his visits, the MP made significant cash donations to support the celebrations and ongoing development efforts.
At Dzita, he encouraged the youth to embrace vocational training, particularly in trades such as plumbing and mechanical work, as a pathway to self-sufficiency and employment.
He also announced his commitment to completing ongoing road projects and pledged support for the renovation of facilities at the Volta Senior High School in Agbledomi.
In Tegbi, Mr. Sefe commended local stakeholders for their efforts to improve road infrastructure and urged the youth to stay away from drug use and other forms of deviant behaviours.
He emphasised the importance of moral discipline as a foundation for community growth.
One of the major highlights of his tour was the commissioning of a newly constructed toilet facility at Klomikpota, aimed at improving sanitation and hygiene standards in the community.
The MP’s active presence at these durbars demonstrated his hands-on approach to constituency work and reinforced his dedication to sustainable development across the Anlo Constituency.
