Tema, March 17, GNA – The Ghana National Association of Farmers and Fishermen (GNAFF) has held its Greater Accra Regional Delegate Congress to elect new executives to help champion the interest of fishers and farmers.
The congress held on the theme: “Uniting to Feed the Nation,” brought together agricultural and fishing personnel from the 29 districts in the Greater Accra Region.
Nene Tekpertey Agblize I, Mankralo of Kordiabe Legbleti and GNAFF President, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the association has been a mouth piece for the farmers and fishermen since its formation.

Nene Agblize called on the members of GNAFF to help reset the association to feed the nation and avail themselves to ensure the Association to be a household name.
The consultant for the association, Francis Tetteh, said the congress would be held in the various regions, adding by July the association’s regional Executives would be in place.
Touching on some of the challenges confronting the association, he said unity, funding and political interference were major problems and called for support from government.
