Women’s ministry of Global Evangelical Church congratulates Vice President

Accra, Jan. 16, GNA – The Women’s Ministry of the Global Evangelical Church has congratulated Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang on her historic election as the first female Vice President of the Republic of Ghana. 

A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra said: “on behalf of the Central Committee Executive, the Central Committee, and the entire membership of the Women’s Ministry of the Global Evangelical Church, we extend our warmest congratulations to you, Her Excellency Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, on your historic election as the first female Vice President of the Republic of Ghana”. 

“Your remarkable achievement is a testament to your hard work, integrity, and dedication to service. It is also a beacon of hope and inspiration to women across the nation and beyond, showcasing that with determination and excellence, every barrier can be broken”, it added. 

The church prayed for strength, and divine guidance to lead with distinction and to champion causes that uplift all  

Ghanaians, especially women and the underprivileged.  

The statement said her victory signified a new dawn of opportunities for deserving women and serves as a powerful reminder of the immense contributions women make in leadership. 

“We stand with you in prayer and solidarity as you take on this responsibility, and we are confident that your tenure will be marked by transformational leadership that will empower generations to come”, the statement said
