Accra, January 19, GNA-Miss Joyce Aku Menns, Chief Executive Officer of 4cus TV, has graduated from the Pan-African Leadership Institute (PALI) with a certificate in Leadership in Education.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Miss Menns explained that her lifelong passion for learning and her desire to enhance her leadership skills motivated her to pursue this professional course.
The programme covered a wide range of topics, including the essential qualities of effective leaders, appropriate leadership behaviours, and ethical leadership practices.
Miss Menns highlighted that the course debunked the misconception of leaders as authoritarian figures.
Instead, it emphasized the importance of servant leadership, where leaders prioritize supporting the success and growth of their team members.
“Effective leaders should not see themselves as superior to their subordinates. They should be mentors and guides, fostering the development of their team,” she said.
Miss Menns expressed confidence that the knowledge and skills gained from the program will significantly enhance her leadership within 4cus TV.
